Hi, I’m Hajnal and I’m a WordPress beginner as you can see. 🙂
Coming from Google Blogger background a few years back. You can find it here.
I’m happy to have more control but as it goes it will take some time to get use to it.
I love how contradictory is that. Now with more stuff than ever to be able to decide on – I’m even more reluctant to make decisions. Because I care and I want perfect , when I’m so far away from that perfectness. It’s a site, the content is what I should be focusing on.
What am I up to now?
I have started learning Web Development and Web Design from separate online courses. So I’m hoping as I progress with the courses most of the questionable stuff will be resolved by me learning more and realising how.
I’m also trying to pick up some Survival Spanish. Moved to Spain a few weeks ago without any Spanish knowledge. And TEFL to have a certification to teach English. Not 100% sure I want to learn Spanish, or that I will ever want to teach English. But I’m kind of desperate to have skills abroad that could make my stay even longer and less stressful regarding money.

My goal is simply to improve
I guess you might already disregarded my efforts because these are both online courses. It might be not the smartest decision to mix web development with web design so early on but I would hate outsourcing such an important personal project. It’s a challenge for myself and if I fail this blog won’t go much further as it is right now and my attempt to get this part of me back will fail too. As I said it’s personal so the success will depend on me, and only me.
That’s how my world works 95% of the time anyway. If you decide to stick around for a while you will get use to it or won’t ever come back.
Colour oriented Photography
Another important thing to know, is that I really like Photography. I got involved when I started Art college, I was naive when I thought they would help me build my practice around it, but I managed to do that anyway. In their opinion, story always have to come first, rather than visually or emotionally unconscious reaction/response. Achieving it by shifting the focus from subject matter to colour theory.
Did you know that there are books out there only focusing on the colour red and its history? Or blue, black and green?
Or noticed that in books published before colour printing, art works were shown in black and white, and the colours were described in plane text?
I’m going to dedicate a few posts to colours and their overlooked significance very soon.
Until then, a simple exercise, have you noticed that some colours can instantly make you feel better and others to make you feel worst? Are you consciously using and surrounding yourself with your happy colours and get rid of the ones that less suiting?
If you have a moment, I would love to hear about it.
Will see how it plays out, I’m not that girl anymore from a few years back, I’m more broken and muted, but want to find my voice again because the brokenness isn’t fixable. That’s life experience you can’t erase.
